What to Expect

What do I wear to class?

  • Pole Trick Classes: Shorts (as short as you feel comfortable wearing. "Swooshy" material is not recommended) and a tank-top is recommended (a sports bra will be required for level 2 and up). No Oils, Lotions, dangling jewelry or rings. Most students prefer to go barefoot and heels are optional (no clogs, wedges or sandals, make sure they have a back to them and support the ankle). 

  • Pole Flow Classes: Shorts or leggings, knee pads, socks and/or pole heels or boots.

  • Yoga/Flexibility: Form fitted athletic apparel.

  • Lyra (Aerial Hoop): Leggings and a form fitting top.

  • Floorwork/Liquid Motion: Layers! Leggings, knee pads, long sleeve tops, socks, if you own pole heels, pack them as well!

What class should I start with?

If you are new to pole, you will need to start with our Intro to Pole class. This is our first level and you will remain in Intro to Pole until you have achieved certain skills/tricks. Instructor approval is required to move up levels. Please read more about our levels and class types on our classes page If you have prior pole experience, please email or text us to discuss the proper level for you!

What is the difference between Intro to Pole and Pole Flow: Intro/Beginner Level?

Our pole classes are separated by tricks classes or dance classes. Our pole trick levels are Intro, Pole 1, Pole 2, Pole 3 and Pole 4. Our dance classes are called FLOW classes and levels are Intro, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. You must know basic tricks/spins before trying our flow classes, so all students are required to take a minimum of 3 Intro to Pole classes before trying Intro or Beginner Pole Flow (although it is recommended to start with Pole Flow: Intro Level, you CAN jump ahead to Beginner if that works better for your schedule & you have done a minimum of 3 Intro to Pole classes).

Do I need to bring my own mat for yoga/pole?

Yes. We offer a limited number of mats available to rent for $2 or for purchase.

How many poles do you have?

We have 10 poles. Our Pole classes are limited to 9-15 students depending on the class, which means pole-sharing is required in some classes. Sharing cleaning equipment is not required, please grab extra towels whenever needed! Since we always limit class sizes, sharing will not be required in every single class. We have tested out many studio models and have found that the pole sharing method is what works best for our studio and the majority of our students.

I have no upper body strength, can I still try pole?

Of course! We work with all different body types and fitness abilities. You do not need any prior experience to take our Intro to Pole classes. All of our classes feature conditioning exercises to help you gain the strength needed for pole.

Pricing and Memberships

Do you offer private sessions?

Yes! We offer both group and private classes. Privates are booked based on availability of the student, instructor and studio space. Where can I get more information in regards to booking a private pole party?

How do I freeze my membership?

All freeze requests must be made via the Freeze Form. You must enter a start and end date. We do not offer open-ended freeze options and must have an end date in order to process your request. Freeze requests must be received a minimum of 7 days prior to your requested freeze date. Membership students can freeze their account for up to 60 days days for free, per membership year. You do not need to use all 60 days consecutively (example: you can freeze for 7 days for a vacation and still have an additional 53 days of free freezing available).

Class Packages, New Client Offers, and 1 Month Unlimited (no auto-pay) passes do not come with freeze abilities (read below to see package extension options).

How do I cancel my membership?

All cancellation requests must be submitted via the Cancellation form. Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the next Auto-Debit date. Cancellation requests cannot be submitted while an account is on freeze. If your account is suspended, please first submit an unfreeze request via email. Once the account is re-activated, a cancellation request can be submitted. Please visit our policies page for more info.

  • Please wait for a reply via email letting you know what day your cancellation will begin.
  • 30-days notice is required for all cancellations.
  • Memberships cannot be cancelled while on freeze, please email info@elitepoleandfitness.com to unfreeze your account prior to submitting this form. 

Can I extend my package?

Yes. We offer a one-time package extension for all packages! Please email info@elitepoleandfitness.com to request a package extension. Package extension requests must be submitted within 2 weeks of your expiration date to be considered.
