Stormy E.

Stormy began her dance education in 2001, training privately with former members of the Bolshoi and Pacific Northwest Ballet. In 2010 she was invited to join the company at Ballet Bellevue and performed many roles in both classical and contemporary ballets, most notably receiving accolades for her performance as the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty. In 2013 she was offered a scholarship as well as a trainee position with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.

She rediscovered her deep love of performing and passion for movement, as well as being introduced to pole for the first time, when she began working as an exotic dancer at clubs throughout the greater Philadelphia area. Her interest in honing her craft eventually led her to Elite, where she has had the privilege of elevating her pole dance skills to new heights, beginning her journey on the lyra, and training in Elite's Intro to Pole & Pole Level 1-2 Teacher Trainings.

She looks forward to continuing to challenge herself to grow as a pole dancer, aerialist, exotic showgirl and instructor.

Stormy E. instructs the following:
  • Intro to Pole (First Level - 1 per pole)
  • This is our foundational level and is designed for brand newbies and beginner-level polers. We will work on all the basics to build strength for the next level up, and the coordination needed to take our choreography-based classes (called Pole Flow). You will learn basic pole spins, pivot turns, climbs, and sits.

This class is one per pole. Which is great for students who want a smaller more intimate class & more time to work on tricks.

When is it time to level up?
When you can do a fireman spin and back-hook spin, can easily get into a pole sit, have a strong basic climb to the ceiling, and can climb into a sit. You should be able to tuck with both feet off the floor. Instructor approval is required to move up to Level 1.
